Ethics Matters is a bespoke, face-to-face Sixth Form Religious Education day led by Dr Peter Vardy. The programme combines engaging, pacy lectures with activities, discussions, debates and Q&A designed to support General RE in the Sixth Form.
Each lecture outlines a range of religious and non-religious perspectives and encourages students to evaluate and reflect on those views.
Sessions cover contemporary ethical issues including Genetics, Fertility, An Aging Population, and Poverty & Inequality. Sessions include activities such as debates, group discussions and Q&A to deepen understanding and critical thinking.
The event is delivered on-site at participating schools or colleges and can be tailored to the specific needs of the students and the school's curriculum.
