This face-to-face GCSE/iGCSE Chemistry revision day is designed to help students prepare for their summer exams. The programme focuses on higher-tier AQA and Edexcel iGCSE specifications, while also drawing on content common to all exam boards so that it is useful for students following different courses.
The day covers a broad range of key topics, including required practicals, structure and bonding, calculations, energy changes, metal reactions, metal extraction, electrolysis, and extended-response questions. Some questions will be sent to attendees at least two weeks in advance, and answers plus exemplar responses will be shared during the event.
Teaching is delivered by two experienced tutors, Dr Michael Yates and Dr Kristy Turner, both Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry. The session takes place in person and offers focused, exam-based revision for students who want structured support and practice before their exams.
