Experience Psychology & Neuroscience Academy is a two-week on-campus summer course held on the Oxford University campus designed for 15-18 year olds. Students explore core topics such as personality, love & attachment, mood and clinical disorders, intelligence, memory, language & thought, and modern neuro-imaging techniques.
Classes are small (maximum 15 students) and are typically taught by tutors from universities including Oxford and Cambridge.
The programme includes hands-on learning: students design and conduct their own research study and take part in an intensive four-hour Psychology Research Challenge to apply theory to practice. Masterclasses, a Psychology Hero talk, and academic support aim to strengthen university applications.
On successful completion students receive a Certificate of Achievement and may be awarded a personalised Letter of Recommendation. Participants can also apply to the Ambassador Programme for continued engagement after the course.
Beyond academics, the course offers a full social and cultural programme with day trips, college experiences, sporting and evening activities, and a formal graduation ceremony at St Anne's College, Oxford. The programme is international, designed to help students experience university life and build an academic network.
