Oxford Scholastica Academy Experience Psychology & Neuroscience Academy

Oxford Scholastica Academy’s Experience Psychology & Neuroscience Academy is a two-week summer school in Oxford for students aged 15-18. The course is designed for curious young people who want to deepen their understanding of psychology, neuroscience and the science behind human behaviour in an inspiring academic environment.

Students explore core topics such as personality, the brain, love and attachment, mood disorders, intelligence, language, social psychology, memory and learning. Teaching is delivered by expert tutors from leading universities, and the programme encourages students to move beyond theory by thinking like researchers and designing their own studies.

Alongside the classroom learning, students complete a Psychology Research Challenge where they work in teams to plan and carry out a questionnaire-based study, analyse their findings and present insights about human behaviour. The wider experience also includes social, cultural and sporting activities in Oxford, plus certification and recommendation support for successful participants.
