Exploring Education - University of Sunderland

Join the University of Sunderland for an interactive taster day aimed at students considering a future in education. Through university-style workshops you will explore Primary Education, Childhood Studies and Education Studies, and experience elements of trainee teacher life such as teaching, learning and child development.

During the event you will meet experienced lecturers, take part in practical sessions, and learn about the role of reading in supporting children’s development. The programme is designed to give insight into career pathways within the education sector and help you make informed decisions about higher education and teacher training.
