FABRIC’s GetSet programme offers a series of free dance workshops for young people who are curious about dance and want to build confidence, creativity and technique. The sessions are designed to be friendly and supportive, making them suitable for people with little or no previous dance experience as well as those who want to develop their skills further.
The workshops also introduce participants to FABRIC’s Centre for Advanced Training programme and the team behind it. They give young dancers a chance to experience practical dance and creative work, while finding out more about the wider training pathway and what it involves.
Workshops run monthly at FABRIC’s Birmingham and Nottingham sites. Places must be booked in advance through the online form, and the sessions are a good way to get involved before the next recruitment phase for the training programme.
