This is an on-campus, two-week Medicine summer school held at the University of Oxford (Oxford College) for ambitious students aged 15-17. The programme delivers around 20 hours of medicine-focused academic study per week, combining interactive seminars, practical workshops and hands-on laboratory activities to build understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Students take part in clinical skills workshops, virtual reality hospital simulations and fieldwork visits that link theory to clinical and community contexts. The course emphasises medical ethics, patient care, and diagnostic approaches, and culminates in group projects showcased in a "Time to Shine" ceremony.
Participants receive personalised academic coaching to support university preparation, including help with personal statements and interview practice. Highlights include certified First Aid training and opportunities to improve English language skills in scientific contexts.
Students live in an Oxford college and are taught in university lecture and seminar rooms.
