An online workshop breaks down how to structure your undergraduate personal statement, choose experiences and achievements to include, and plan your writing with practical resources. Hear current students share what they included and what they’d recommend; submit questions through Microsoft Teams chat.

Join Falmouth University for an interactive online workshop focused on writing a strong undergraduate personal statement. The session is designed to help prospective applicants understand how to present themselves clearly and confidently when applying for university.

During the workshop, you’ll explore how to structure your personal statement, identify the experiences and achievements that could strengthen it, and make use of practical planning resources to support your writing. The event also includes advice from current students, who will explain how they approached their own statements, what they chose to include, and what they would recommend to others beginning the application process.

The workshop is delivered as a virtual event on Microsoft Teams. Participant cameras and microphones will be switched off throughout, and questions will be submitted through the chat. It is aimed at students preparing for undergraduate study and anyone looking for guidance on what admissions teams are looking for in a personal statement.
