The FAO World Food Day Poster Contest invites children and young people to create an original poster inspired by the annual World Food Day theme. Entrants are encouraged to respond creatively to the idea of innovation in food and agriculture, showing how science, technology, knowledge and imagination can help feed people, protect the planet and build a better future.

The contest is open to young people across the world and is divided into age categories. Artwork may be hand-drawn, painted, sketched or created digitally, but photographs are not accepted. Entries must be submitted as JPEG files through the online form, and only one entry is allowed per person.

The competition is free to enter and successful entries may be shortlisted or selected as winners, with recognition including certificates, a gift bag and promotion by FAO.
