Fancy making your own short film in Oxford this summer? Join Renowned Prestige’s Film Academy: write, direct, shoot and edit with pro kit and tutors at St Hugh’s. Build practical skills (camera, lighting, sound, Final Cut Pro) and finish a film to showcase.

The Oxford Film Academy Summer School is an immersive residential programme for teens aged 16 618 based at St Hugh's College, University of Oxford. Participants write, direct, film and edit their own short film, learning practical production skills including storyboarding, scripting, camera operation, lighting, sound and Final Cut Pro editing.

The course provides professional filmmaking equipment and guided tutorials led by expert instructors.

Students complete a finished film project to showcase their skills, present work at a final graduation and film showcase, and receive a certificate and academic report. The programme includes cultural and extracurricular activities (e.

g. , karaoke, quiz nights, sports and a graduation party) and 24/7 staff supervision in student accommodation on campus.

Travel support is offered for an additional transfer fee: A3215 one-way from London Heathrow with airport meet-and-greet and transport to campus; arrival and departure time windows apply. Admissions and booking steps include paying a deposit, completing an enrolment form and awaiting booking confirmation prior to booking flights.
