Finance Apprentice

This two-year Finance Apprentice role with AQA offers on-the-job experience across core finance teams including Billing & Collections, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Financial Control. You will rotate through these areas to develop practical accounting skills and support month-end reporting, reconciliations, journal entries and audit preparation.

You will study toward an Assistant Accountant (Level 3) apprenticeship qualification with training provided by Kaplan Financial Limited, supported through the apprenticeship levy. The programme is full-time (37 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, times to be confirmed) and includes off-the-job training elements; the training schedule is to be confirmed by the employer.

The role is based at Devas Street, Manchester (M15 6EX) and there is one position available. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4+ (A-C). Applicants must complete and pass a mandatory 4-day online bookkeeping course before starting.

After successful completion, apprentices may progress into a full-time role.
