This Finance Assistant Apprentice role with First Rung Limited is a paid Level 3 accounting apprenticeship based in NW London. You will work as part of the finance team, producing spreadsheets and timetables, maintaining and preparing files, handling incoming and outgoing post, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with apprentice learner documentation.
The apprenticeship combines on-the-job learning with formal training delivered by First Rung. Training covers bookkeeping transactions and controls, elements of costing, using accounting software, working effectively in finance, and Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
The apprenticeship includes time away from the workplace for specialist training to gain the Assistant Accountant (Level 3) qualification.
This is a full-time role (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm; 35 hours per week). The start date is Monday 24 November 2025. Essential requirement: GCSE Maths (grade 4).
GCSE English (grade 4) is desirable. First Rung can provide additional training or experience where applicants lack desirable qualifications.
