Join Skern Lodge or the Ultimate Adventure Centre in North Devon as a Food & Beverage Team Member Apprentice. You will work front of house serving food and beverages, clearing and cleaning tables, managing stock levels, receiving deliveries and reporting low stock.

Full training is provided and you will work alongside an experienced team to develop practical hospitality skills and customer service experience.

This role is suitable for applicants with a desire to learn and progress in hospitality; prior experience is desirable but not essential. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a trainer, receive a mix of face-to-face and online training, and can be provided Functional Skills in Maths and English if needed.

Key personal skills include communication, time management, organisation, attention to detail and teamwork.

Contracted hours are 30 per week on a rota with some split shifts (for example 7:00-11:00 and 15:00-19:00). Benefits include meals while on duty, uniform, Perkbox discounts and excellent team support. Progression and further training opportunities are available on completion.

  • Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE Grade 4) desirable; Functional Skills can be provided as part of the development plan.
  • Experience within hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn and commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
  • Contracted hours 30 hours per week; rota includes split shifts (example: 7:00-11:00 and 15:00-19:00), 5 out of 7 days per week.
  • Driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage due to shift times and local public transport timings.
