Test-drive life as a forensic scientist in an interactive masterclass with simulated crime-scene walkthroughs, fingerprint identification exercises and live demonstrations. Join Q&As with practising scientists, get expert career coaching on A-level/IB choices and finish with an online assessment and a personalised certificate.

The Forensic Scientist Insight Day is an interactive masterclass that lets students test-drive life as a forensic scientist. Through a mixture of simulated crime-scene walkthroughs, fingerprint identification exercises and live demonstrations, participants learn core investigative techniques and how evidence is collected and analysed.

The programme includes expert career coaching and guidance on A-level/IB choices, university routes, extra-curricular activities and how to secure relevant work experience. Students will hear from practising forensic scientists in a Q&A panel, gain practical problem-solving experience and develop transferable skills such as teamwork, observation and critical thinking.

Participation culminates in an online assessment and a personalised certificate to support applications. The same content is delivered for both in-person and live online formats; places are limited and bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
