Want to lead in business and entertainment? Join UCLA Anderson’s three-week academy in LA: explore strategy through workshops, team projects and a real-company capstone. Build a portfolio piece, gain feedback and boost your university or career prospects.

This three-week Foundations in Business Leadership Academy at UCLA Anderson School of Management is an immersive summer program for high-school students (ages 14-18). The curriculum blends interactive workshops, team-based projects, business simulations and case studies focused on business strategy, leadership and the entertainment sector in Los Angeles.

Students work on a capstone consulting project for a real company, producing a portfolio piece and receiving instructor feedback.

Programs run as either residential (boarding) or day-student options and include structured campus days with classes, activities, and supervised evenings. The program includes guest speakers and networking opportunities with industry professionals, possible field trips to entertainment companies and business incubators, and sessions on career pathways and college preparation.

Upon completion students receive a Course Completion Certificate and a Letter of Recognition, plus detailed performance reports.

The academy supports international attendees with visa guidance and arrival assistance; an international registration fee applies. Residential packages include housing, two meals per day, campus supervision and specified transport for program activities.

Families are advised to follow the enrolment and payment instructions and not to book travel until booking confirmation is received.

Qualification Outcome

Course Completion Certificate and Letter of Recognition (course completion); letter of recognition and student performance reports. Some classes may offer college-credit reporting where applicable.

Participation Fee

£3,888

Two attendance options shown: Day option (£3,888 per 3-week session) and Boarding option (£7,477 per 3-week session). International students pay a mandatory international registration fee (USD $379 residential or $239 commuter). Tuition for residential programs includes housing, two meals per day (breakfast & dinner), transportation for included activities, select excursions, and campus supervision. Airfare and off-campus meals are not included.
