This three-week on-campus summer course at UCLA introduces middle-school students to core ideas in psychology. Students explore child and adolescent psychology, normal adult behaviour, and an introduction to abnormal psychology, with modules that include mental health, key psychological theories, and research skills.
The program combines classroom learning with applied activities and field trips. Students study psychological applications across clinical, organisational, and marketing contexts, engage in hands-on projects and research-style activities, and receive instructor feedback and performance summaries.
Residential and day options are offered, with supervised campus living and structured daily schedules for residential participants.
Upon completion students receive a Course Completion Certificate and a Letter of Recognition. International students are supported with visa guidance, arrival/departure assistance and medical insurance as part of the international program fee.
Parents are provided with detailed pre-arrival information and mandatory safety orientation during the first 24 hours.
