Freeths offers an exclusive Year 12 legal placement for students from Bilborough College, Nottingham College and Djanogly City Academy. This paid opportunity gives participants a chance to spend three days in the firm’s Nottingham office and experience life at a leading law firm first-hand.
During the placement, students gain practical legal experience by shadowing solicitors across a range of departments and contributing to real tasks. They also draft legal documents for their team, building confidence, workplace skills and a better understanding of how legal work is carried out day to day.
The programme is designed for students who are considering a career in law and want to explore what the profession involves. It offers a chance to learn about the legal sector, develop self-confidence and see how Freeths supports people in building a successful legal career.
