French Summer Classes runs summer French courses for teenagers on the French Riviera, based in Cannes. The programme is split into age/ability groups (12 14 and 15 17) and covers listening, speaking, reading and writing with a strong emphasis on communicative practice.
Morning lessons focus on core language skills while afternoons are reserved for activities, excursions and optional intensive or one-to-one tuition.
Courses accept students from complete beginners up to B2 and are suitable for pupils preparing for GCSE/IGCSE, A-level, IB, Abitur, Matura and DELF/DALF exams. Class sizes are small (maximum 10 students) with intensive groups limited further, allowing personalised attention and quicker progress.
Students receive study materials from teachers while they should bring a notebook and pen.
The summer programme runs from Monday 15 June to Friday 31 July 2026, with course lengths from one to seven weeks. On completion participants receive a certificate indicating hours attended and level. Homestay options with host families are available as part of the wider programme, and the school can arrange private tuition and bespoke schedules on request.
