Future Artists - Canford

Future Artists - Canford is a two-week residential-style summer school for young creatives aged 11-16, hosted at Canford School. The programme mixes hands-on tuition and project work to help students develop technical skills across drawing, painting, sculpture and digital art while building a personal portfolio.

Students receive 15 hours of subject-specific academic content per week delivered by experienced tutors, and take part in 'Time To Shine' group projects culminating in end-of-week presentations. The programme also includes English-language development opportunities and structured creative tasks that explore composition, colour theory, perspective and the cultural context of art.

Outside the studio, the social programme offers sports, performing arts, creative activities, tech and themed events, plus excursions to well-known UK attractions. The Canford campus features boarding houses and art studios; participants are encouraged to showcase their work in group exhibitions and talent showcases.
