Future Global Leaders is a two-week residential programme for students aged 11 6 who want to explore politics, international relations and leadership. The course combines academic study with practical experience through debates, case studies, simulations and team negotiations to help students understand how governments and international organisations make decisions and respond to global issues.
Teaching is led by educators experienced in politics and international relations. Students take part in structured modules on political systems, diplomacy and leadership, practising communication, negotiation and public speaking.
The programme includes 15 hours of English-through-academic-subjects tuition per week, small class sizes (maximum 15), regular group projects and a progress report; students receive an end-of-course certificate on completion.
The course is full boarding at Canford School in Wimborne Minster and includes a varied social programme and three excursions (including at least one visit to London and other destinations such as Bournemouth, Oxford and Bath). Accommodation, meals and standard excursion transport/entry fees are included.
Airport transfers are offered for an extra fee and supervised transfers are arranged for Heathrow and St Pancras.
