The German Academy’s online intensive courses are German language classes for children, teenagers and adults who already have basic knowledge or are complete beginners at A1 and A2 level. The courses are designed to build confidence through age-appropriate content, interactive tools and games, with students grouped by age and level.
Teaching is delivered online by experienced native German teachers, with small class sizes of up to six students so that learners can receive individual support. Sessions usually run once or twice a week during term time, with each lesson lasting around 45 to 60 minutes depending on the age group.
Students work towards an internationally acknowledged telc exam within one to two years, and can continue their language journey to later stages including German GCSE and A-Level classes. All students must purchase a course book for their specific group.
Preparation for an internationally recognised telc exam (CEFR A1/A2); students are invited to take the telc exam on completion. Progression pathways to German GCSE and A-Level classes offered.

All courses are priced per session: £15 per 45-minute session, £20 per 60-minute session, and £30 per 90-minute session. Students are also required to purchase a course book for their specific group.
