GKN Aerospace Work Experience

GKN Aerospace offers regular, week-long work experience placements that introduce young people to the aerospace industry. Participants join active projects, build new skills, and get an insight into different career paths across the business while being supported by dedicated work experience champions.

The placements are designed to help students explore what a career in aerospace could look like in practice. The page highlights opportunities in areas such as human resources, engineering, IT, procurement, and health and safety, giving participants a broad view of the roles that keep the organisation running.

Placements are available at GKN Aerospace’s Bristol and Cowes locations. Applicants are asked to send a CV and cover letter to the relevant local contact email, depending on the site they are interested in.
