Spend ten days living and studying on campus at Durham University in a residential pre-university programme focused on social science disciplines. The Global Futures programme brings together academic exploration, cultural activities and international friendship, helping participants build independence, strengthen study habits and gain a preview of undergraduate life.
Participants study a range of social science subjects (examples include anthropology, archaeology, education, law and sociology) in small seminar groups with Durham academics. The programme includes 24 hours of academic instruction, interactive sessions, collegiate life experiences and full-day trips, including a trip to Edinburgh.
The course outcome is a Durham University certificate of attendance. The programme is for 16 6 17 year olds and requires a minimum English level of B2. The residential fee is a35,000 (deposit a3500 at application).
