Global Leadership Summer School

The Immerse Global Leadership Summer School in Cambridge is a residential and remote programme designed to help high-school students develop leadership, communication and critical thinking skills. Participants engage with university-level content through hands-on workshops, seminars with academics and professionals, and practical sessions focused on diplomacy, decision-making and global challenges.

Students can choose a one-week intensive introduction or a two-week extended programme featuring mentorship, personal research projects, 1-on-1 tutoring, and interactive group work. In-person highlights include day excursions, expert seminars, small-group workshops and structured pastoral support; remote delivery is also offered for one- or two-week formats.

The programme awards a certificate of achievement and offers an optional route to earn 8 UCAS points for eligible students (students must be aged 14+ to opt into UCAS points). Safety, safeguarding and welfare provision are emphasised throughout, and Immerse provides on-site supervision, meals and arranged excursion transport while students are expected to make their own travel arrangements to and from the programme city.
