Queen Mary University of London offers the Global Talent Scholarship to highly qualified international undergraduate offer holders joining in the September 2026 intake. The scholarship is worth A33,000 per academic year and can total up to A312,000 over a standard four-year degree.
Awards are automatic for eligible students who exceed their offer as set out in the published A-level/IB equivalence table.
The first A33,000 is deducted from tuition fees when you enrol in your first year. To retain the scholarship in subsequent years recipients must achieve an average of 65% or above in their academic results.
Scholarship offers are confirmed by Admissions at the point of offer and recipients are notified via their applicant portal; there is no separate application process.
The award is only available to students confirmed as 'Overseas' for fee status who are fully self-funded and enrolled full-time. It cannot be combined with other Queen Mary tuition fee discounts or full-fee scholarships and cannot be deferred.
Several programmes are ineligible for the scheme (for example, degree apprenticeships, MBBS/medicine programmes, BDS dentistry and certain foundation or exchange programmes) as listed on the university page.

Location
- Available only to international students with confirmed 'Overseas' fee status
- Must hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate programme for the September 2026 intake
- Must have exceeded their offer as outlined in the published A-level/IB equivalence table (or overseas equivalent)
- Scholarship awarded automatically at point of offer (no application or registration required)
- Must be fully self-funded and able to finance remaining tuition fees and living expenses
- Must be enrolled on a full-time programme
- Not eligible if in receipt of any other Queen Mary scholarship, tuition fee discount (including alumni or partner discounts), or a full-fee scholarship from another source
- Renewable each year subject to achieving an average of 65% or above in academic results
- Scholarships cannot be deferred to subsequent years
- Ineligible programmes include (examples listed on page): BSc Accountancy; LLB English and French Law; BDS Dentistry; BSc Dental Therapy and Hygiene; MBBS Medicine; MBBS Medicine Malta; Degree Apprenticeships; Foundation Programmes (standalone and integrated); Study Abroad and Exchange Programmes
£12,000 total
Up to £12,000 total (£3,000 per academic year). The first £3,000 is deducted from tuition fees on enrolment in year 1. Scholarship is renewable up to £12,000 over a standard four-year degree subject to achieving an average of 65% or above each year.
