The GoSkills “Be the Boss” Scholarship supports young women who want to build or grow a business. It is open to female students and aspiring entrepreneurs in high school, college, university, or other educational and non-traditional pathways, and applicants can be based anywhere in the world.
The scholarship is designed for people with a business idea or a newly launched venture, as well as current founders who want support to take their next step. Selected applicants receive a $2,000 USD scholarship award.
The funding can be used as educational support or as seed money to help launch or expand a business. Applications are free, and winners are chosen based on the strength of the business plan, feasibility of the idea, evidence of initiative, and demonstrated entrepreneurial commitment.
To apply, candidates complete an online form and provide their name, contact details, school information, social link, business plan link, and a statement confirming that the idea is original. The scholarship runs on two application rounds each year, giving applicants repeated chances to apply.
