Create two garments inspired by “Reimagine, rework and reinvent”. Research materials that can be reused and explain how your chosen fabrics or waste streams could become new outfits. Selected work may be brought to life digitally and celebrated at Graduate Fashion Week.
The Graduate Fashion Foundation, supported by PVH, is inviting young people with an interest in fashion design to take part in the Young Talent of Tomorrow Design Competition. Entrants are asked to create two garments inspired by the theme “Reimagine, rework and reinvent”, with the chance for their work to be brought to life in digital form and celebrated at Graduate Fashion Week 2027.
The competition encourages creative thinking and sustainability. Students are asked to research materials that can be reused, explain why they have chosen particular fabrics or waste streams, and show how they would transform these into new outfits.
The process is designed to highlight imagination, design development and environmental awareness, making it a strong opportunity for aspiring designers.
There are three age categories, with prizes for winners and runners-up across the competition. Rewards include digital showcase opportunities, tickets to the gala show, a trophy, a fashion starter pack and participation in a digital workshop.
It is open to UK-based students studying textiles, art or a related design subject.
3 March 2027
Winners will be informed on 17 March 2027 and invited to attend an online workshop on 24 March 2027.
