Ignite is a four-day, in-person work experience programme at Grant Thornton's London office that gives Year 12 and Year 13 students (as of September 2026) a hands-on introduction to accountancy and business. Participants work on real projects alongside Audit teams, take part in focused development sessions to build professional skills, and engage in group activities to strengthen teamwork and problem-solving.
The programme runs Monday 17 - Thursday 20 August 2026 and requires full attendance for the duration. Successful participants who stand out during Ignite may be fast-tracked onto Grant Thornton's school leaver programmes, providing a potential pathway into a school-leaver role before finishing school.
