Curious how design shapes everything you use daily? Join Springpod’s Graphic Design Virtual Work Experience to explore briefs, research, sketch and build concepts, hear from practising designers, and boost your portfolio, skills and industry insight for university or career choices.

Embark on a creative journey with the Graphic Design Virtual Work Experience. This online programme introduces the key concepts, history, principles and elements of graphic design and explains how design shapes everyday life across different industries.

Participants learn about major industries that use graphic design and hear from practising designers about career routes and industry entry stories.

The course covers the full graphic design process - briefing, researching, brainstorming, sketching, client feedback and refining a finished product - and includes interactive activities, quizzes and exemplar portfolios. Participants are supported to begin building their own graphic design portfolio with guidance from experts and reflective tasks to consolidate learning.

The programme is delivered virtually and is available on-demand with live webinars (recorded) taking place during weekday working hours. There is no strict cut-off for completing the work; assignments are reviewed after submission and a certificate of completion is issued once the programme is marked complete.
