Buxted Construction is offering a Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship combining on-the-job learning with specialist training. You will spend most of the apprenticeship working on site gaining practical experience in tasks such as slab and kerb laying, digging foundations, laying drainage, levelling and setting out, brickwork, and general site labour.
Training is delivered with CITB and includes college release and study towards the Groundworker Level 2 apprenticeship standard.
The apprenticeship is 18 months in duration, with the advertised start date of Friday 5 December 2025. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 07:45-16:45 and Saturday 08:00-13:00 (44 hours per week). The role is field-based on construction sites across London & the Home Counties (Aldershot address listed) and includes holiday pay and statutory sick pay where applicable.
Applicants must hold GCSEs in English and Maths (grades 3-9/D-A). The employer notes that required qualifications are minimum and that work placement will depend on the applicant's home address. Successful completion can lead to further training (e.
g. , Groundworker Level 3) and career progression within Buxted Construction.
