Fancy turning your passion for cars into a career? Join Group 1 Automotive apprenticeships to train as a Service Technician, Advisor or in IT/Finance, gain recognised qualifications, hands-on skills and clear progression into senior technical or management roles across dealerships.

Group 1 Automotive offers apprenticeship opportunities across its dealership network and support functions, designed to develop practical and career-ready skills in the automotive retail sector. Roles highlighted include Service Technician, Service Advisor and Parts Advisor in dealerships, plus various support function apprenticeships (IT, Finance and others) at Level 2 to Level 5.

Apprenticeships lead to recognised qualifications and on-the-job progression toward senior technical or management roles.

Service Technician apprenticeships are three-year programmes that provide hands-on mechanical training to become a fully qualified Level 3 Technician. Service Advisor and Parts Advisor apprenticeships focus on customer service, stock management and aftersales support, and follow national apprenticeship standards with NVQ and related qualifications.

Support function roles vary in level and content but also contribute to career progression within Group 1.

To apply, candidates should search current apprentice vacancies via careers.group1auto.co.uk or contact earlycareers@group1auto.co.uk for more information. The programme emphasises practical experience, training, and progression opportunities within Group 1's UK retailer network.
