Want to launch a professional career without university? Join SW Group’s four-year Business Tax School Leaver Programme in Cambridge. Gain client-facing experience, work with Partners and build tax, advisory and professional skills through structured on-the-job training.

SW Group's School Leaver Programme in Business Tax is a four-year training contract based in Cambridge delivering tax advisory and compliance services across corporation tax, international tax, indirect tax and employment tax. You will work alongside Partners and Directors to support a wide range of clients, gaining practical client-facing experience and developing professional skills from early in your career.

Alongside client work you will undertake structured on-the-job training and online courses, and study towards the ACA qualification (Level 7) via tuition from an accredited provider. The programme combines in-person training sessions, online learning and mentorship from the wider team, providing time and resources to prepare for professional exams while developing technical and business skills.

Responsibilities include preparing tax computations and returns, assisting with research and technical documentation, supporting advisory engagements, building client relationships, and delivering high-quality client service. The role is part of a cohort with a buddy system and Learning & Development support.
