SW Group's School Leaver Programme in Audit (Manchester, Sept 2026 start) hires school leavers to join the Audit & Assurance team, providing hands-on experience across a diverse client base from small businesses to non-profit organisations. You will work on engagements that vary in scope and length (planning, fieldwork and completion phases) and be based either at client offices or at the S&W Manchester office (Princess Street).
Day-to-day responsibilities include undertaking audit and accountancy tasks, developing an understanding of clients' business portfolios, keeping senior stakeholders informed, using audit/accounting software, resolving queries and prioritising tasks while monitoring time against budget.
As part of the programme you will receive first-class professional training and study for the ACA level 7 qualification through a leading UK training provider. The role is part of a cohort with personal support including a buddy and a dedicated Learning & Development contact.
