Guildhall School of Music & Drama - Piano Masterclass with Hyung-ki Joo

Guildhall School of Music & Drama presents a free, public piano masterclass led by acclaimed pianist Hyung-ki Joo. The event features outstanding piano students from the School and is designed to give the audience insight into masterclass teaching and performance practice.

Hyung-ki Joo is a Steinway artist, composer and co-founder of the duo Igudesman & Joo. He has performed with major orchestras and is Artistic Director of the Menuhin Competition. In this session he will work directly with student pianists, offering technical, interpretive and performance guidance.

The session lasts three hours and is open to all; audience members are welcome to drop in and will be admitted when appropriate. Admission is free and no advance booking or tickets are required.
