Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) Taunton Open Days offer prospective students and their families the chance to visit Saturday music and drama classes during term time. Attendees can meet specialist tutors, discover facilities, observe classes in action and, where relevant, try instruments.
Each Open Day finishes with a free lunchtime performance by GYA Taunton students in the Willow Cafe at Richard Huish College. Open Days are relaxed and inclusive events for children and young people aged 5 6 618.
Parents and carers are invited to attend; visits are tailored to the visitors interests and needs (you may be given a shorter timetable if appropriate for younger children). To book a place, email gyataunton@gsmd.
ac. uk or sign up to the GYA Taunton mailing list to be notified when bookings open.
Location
- Open to children and young people aged 5 6 618.
- Parents or carers are welcome to attend with the child.
- Visitors may observe or take part in classes; bringing an instrument is encouraged but not required for music attendees.
