Make a video game with friends at a teen game jam, with workshops, mentors and teammates on hand whether you’re new to coding or already building. Develop your game at your own pace, then share it in project demos and voting.
Hack Club Haven is a teen game jam where participants come together to make a video game with friends, learn new skills, and share their ideas in a fun, supportive environment. It is designed for young people who may already code as well as complete beginners, with workshops, mentors, and teammates available to help throughout the day.
The London event takes place at Ada, the National College for Digital Skills. Participants can follow workshops or create at their own pace, meet new people, and work towards building a finished project. The day also includes talks, time to develop games, project demos, and voting.
The event is free and includes food and snacks, making it a low-pressure way to explore game development and creative coding. Hack Club describes Haven as part of a worldwide series of teen game jams, bringing together young people to learn, build, and have a great time together.
