Build and test a working AI tool in a day with a team of 3-6, tackling access to jobs, opportunities or services. You’ll design a prototype and pitch it live to judges, with prizes including a £50 voucher, access to courses and mentoring.

CLOSED THIS CYCLEPrize: Winning teams receive a £50 voucher, free access to HRnexus AI EduHub courses, a mentoring session with Oksana, and recognition across HRnexus community channels.

This is a one-day, in-person AI hackathon where teams build an AI-powered tool to help people access jobs, opportunities, or services. Teams of 3 6 people pick a challenge and spend the day designing, prototyping and demonstrating a working solution.

At the end of the day each team gives a short live pitch to a panel of judges rather than a long slide deck. The hackathon is open to a broad audience - developers, designers, HR professionals, social workers, community organisers, students and anyone passionate about building practical AI solutions.

Organisers encourage mixed teams with different skills; you do not need to be a technical expert to take part, but you should bring a laptop and be ready to build and test a prototype within the day. Prizes include a £50 voucher, access to HRnexus AI EduHub courses, and mentoring.

The event is delivered by CulturaLinks Community CIC through the HRnexus AI programme and will be held at the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation in Taunton.
