Hairdressing Apprenticeship

Gary Ingham Hairdressing Ltd is recruiting a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice to join their boutique Aveda salon in Hampstead. This apprenticeship is a hands-on role where most learning takes place on the job: assisting stylists, reception duties, greeting customers and supporting general salon operations.

You will gain practical experience in cutting, colouring, styling and client care while working as part of a salon team.

Training is delivered through Kleek Apprenticeships Limited and leads to a Hair Professional Level 2 qualification. The programme includes formal training blocks and bespoke learning modules to support functional skills in English and maths if required.

Course content covers consultations, shampooing & conditioning, colouring, cutting techniques, styling and safe working practices; completion includes an End Point Assessment to confirm competence.

This role is ideal for people with no prior industry experience who want a career in hairdressing. The apprenticeship starts on 3 March 2026 in Hampstead (63-67 Heath Street, NW3 6UG), is paid (£15,704 in the first year), is 40 hours per week and lasts 1 year 6 months.

Successful applicants will be supported to gain the required functional skills to complete the apprenticeship.
