This is a Level 2 Hairdressing apprenticeship with The Hairstylists in Doncaster. As an apprentice you will assist senior stylists with daily salon duties and learn practical hairdressing techniques including consultations, shampooing, conditioning, cutting, styling, colouring and lightening.

Most training is on the job in the salon alongside one day per week of off-the-job training at a specialist centre (Doncaster or Rotherham).

The apprenticeship starts on Monday 15 December 2025, runs for two years and includes end-point assessment (EPA). Hours are approximately 30 hours per week (days and hours to be confirmed at interview).

Training is delivered by Oracle Training Consultants Limited and you'll gain a Hairdressing Level 2 NVQ; you may be required to complete or resit GCSE maths or English depending on prior attainment.

Desirable entry qualifications include GCSE English and Maths (grade 4). Applicants should be prepared for long periods of standing and weekend work (including Saturdays).
