The HALO Scholarships provide full tuition fee support for six students from state-funded colleges or sixth forms in East Anglia who are current Year 13 applicants to UK universities for entry in Autumn 2026. Recipients will have their tuition fees covered for a three-year undergraduate course and will gain work experience through paid summer internships at HALO after their first and second years, as well as part-time work opportunities during term time.
Successful scholars are also offered a guaranteed job on graduation. Applications are open for 2026 and open until 31st May 2026. Applicants complete a short online form and attach a short video answering set prompts; a brief informal 10-minute interview follows for those shortlisted.
Twelve candidates will be invited to attend a three-day internship (27th to 29th July 2026) with travel expenses covered, and final selections will be confirmed by the end of August 2026. HALO welcomes applications for any degree subject but notes particular suitability for economics, business, PPE and STEM-related courses.
Applicants must have applied to Student Finance England for a tuition fee loan. The programme emphasises personal attributes such as ambition, initiative and problem-solving alongside academic potential.
