Explore how dirty rivers, water shortages and flooding connect in a webinar launching a nationwide campaign for a water system that works better for people and wildlife. Hear local campaign and community voices, and learn what communities are already doing on the ground.

Join Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust for an online campaign launch webinar focused on Fix Water, a new nationwide initiative from the Wildlife Trust movement. The session introduces the campaign’s aim of creating a water system that works better for people and wildlife, and explores why issues such as dirty rivers and seas, water shortages, flooding and pressure on water supplies are all connected.

The webinar explains how current water management is fragmented and why a more joined-up approach is being called for, with water treated as critical national infrastructure and managed around local control, re-wired water companies and nature at the heart of decision-making. Attendees will hear from local voices, learn what communities are already doing on the ground, and find out how they can get involved in the campaign.

Speakers include campaign and community representatives from the local area.
