Harper Adams University
Apply NowTrain as an environmental practitioner at Harper Adams with a four-year degree apprenticeship that combines on-campus study, employer placement and fieldwork to earn a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and Sustainability.
Harper Adams Universitys BSc (Hons) Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship prepares apprentices to address environmental challenges such as biodiversity loss, climate change, water management, sustainable energy, land use and food security. The programme blends academic study with practical experience: apprentices undertake on-campus teaching, employer-based work placements and substantial fieldwork.
Residential field courses are part of the standard degree, with apprentices joining a residential field course in their first year and optional international trips available.
On successful completion you will be awarded a BSc (Hons) Environmental Management and Sustainability. The course is accredited by the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Practitioners (ISEP, formerly IEMA), giving eligibility for student membership during the programme and GradISEP on graduation.
The apprenticeship is delivered at Harper Adams University campus alongside the location of the employer work placement. Entry normally requires three A levels (or equivalent) or a Level 3 apprenticeship; apprentices must have the right to work in England and meet English and maths requirements prior to enrolment if not already achieved.
