Harper Adams University’s Engineering Experience Day is a campus-based taster event designed for young people who are interested in engineering and want to find out more about studying the subject at university. The day introduces participants to the university’s engineering pathways and shows how engineering powers progress across areas such as robotics, sustainable infrastructure and advanced manufacturing.
The programme includes an introduction to the engineering courses, a campus tour of workshops, test facilities, laboratories and specialist engineering spaces, lunch, and hands-on activities. These practical sessions are intended to build confidence with real equipment and give participants a realistic feel for the kind of work and learning involved in engineering study.
The event is aimed at participants aged 15 and over, and is a chance to explore the university environment, ask questions, and see whether engineering at Harper Adams could be a good fit for future study.
