Haven House Children's Hospice is looking for Events Champions to support fundraising events in the hospice and local community. Volunteers may help with event administration, set-up, networking, representing the charity at community events, or giving a short speech about the hospice's work and services.

The role also includes helping to raise awareness and support seasonal fundraising activity such as contacting schools and local businesses. This is a flexible volunteering role with no minimum time commitment, and it is mainly based at home or in a local area, with occasional visits to the office.

Training, induction and support are provided, and the fundraising team will help volunteers prepare wording and presentations. Volunteers can also have travel expenses covered if agreed in advance, making this a practical way to gain experience, build confidence and contribute to a local charity.
