Join the Hawk Conservancy Trust for a Careers Day focused on working with animals and building a future in conservation. The event gives young people the chance to explore careers connected to birds of prey, conservation, and the zoological field, with a particular focus on what it is like to work with the Trust’s birds and wider team.
Participants will meet staff from a range of departments, discover the day-to-day work of the Bird Team, and go behind the scenes to learn about the Trust’s conservation projects. The day also shows how the Trust communicates its conservation message to visitors and supports birds of prey in the wild.
It is aimed at students in school or college Years 11-13 who are interested in the natural world and may be considering a career in conservation. A responsible adult must attend with each participant, and the event is designed to be an inspiring introduction to the variety of roles involved in wildlife and conservation work.
