HaysMac's Work Experience Programme 2026 offers a one-week placement giving young people practical insight into the professional services and accountancy sector. Delivered in partnership with Access Accountancy, the programme includes an introduction to the firm, a welcome session, shadowing across Audit, Tax, Non-Audit Services and Operations, a session with the Professional Qualifications and Early Talent team, and the opportunity to observe a live audit or client meeting where possible.

The firm emphasises widening access and removing barriers for applicants from underrepresented or lower socio-economic backgrounds. The placement runs Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October 2026 in London.

Applicants must be aged 16–25, have the Right to Work in the UK, be available for the advertised dates, and submit a CV plus a 500–800 word cover letter explaining their interest. HaysMac will cover travel expenses and provide lunch each day.

To apply, email your CV and cover letter to WorkExperience@haysmac. com before the application deadline (16 August 2026, midnight).
