Heathfield School offers a range of scholarships at three entry points: 11+, 13+ and Sixth Form (16+). Available awards include Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Photography and Sport scholarships. Scholarships carry title and prestige and give holders access to the school's scholarship programme; 11+ and 13+ scholarships remain in place until the end of Form V, with the option to re-apply for Sixth Form scholarships.

Scholars are expected to demonstrate high levels of achievement, enthusiasm and potential in their discipline. Subject scholars (11+ and 13+) are required to follow the awarded subject through to GCSE, while Sixth Form subject scholars must take the subject at A Level.

Sixth Form academic candidates should have GCSE predictions of grade 7 and above and will complete an aptitude assessment and interview.

Assessment requirements vary by scholarship: Art applicants present an A3-minimum portfolio (up to 20 pages), Photography Sixth Form applicants submit a smaller photographic portfolio and analytical commentary, Drama applicants prepare a 2-minute monologue plus a short review and attend interviews/workshops, Music candidates meet specified grade thresholds and perform sight-reading/interviews, and Sports applicants undergo fitness tests, game-based assessment and interviews.
