Heathfield Youth Hub
Apply NowWant to make a real difference on Saturdays? Join Heathfield Youth Hub as a Youth Club Volunteer — run wellbeing activities, lead sports and art sessions, or help with music and lunch. Build communication skills, hands-on experience and boost your CV.
Heathfield Youth Hub runs a free, safe youth session for 7-9 year olds on the first Saturday of every month. The hub offers access to a sports hall, sensory room, music room, art room and teaching kitchen so young people can socialise, try activities and enjoy a healthy lunch.
Volunteers are asked to help deliver the session by running well-being activities in the sensory room, leading games in the sports hall, assisting in the music or art rooms, or helping to prepare and serve lunch. Volunteers should arrive at 09:00 to help set up; the youth session runs 09:30-13:00 and volunteers are asked to assist with clearing up until around 13:30.
This role requires an ESCC-submitted DBS check and is open to adults aged 18+. Mileage/expenses will be paid. Sessions take place at the Heathfield Youth Hub on Heathfield High Street.
To apply, complete the online form via Wealden Volunteering or contact them by phone or email for more information.
