Heathrow Business Virtual Work Experience

Explore the world of business at Heathrow through this virtual work experience programme, created in partnership with Britain’s busiest airport. It is designed to help you understand the different ways business careers work in a large, complex organisation, while showing how skills training can open up a range of future pathways.

Across the programme, you’ll learn about business management, business strategy and employability, with activities, quizzes and reflections built in throughout. You’ll also hear from Heathrow staff and industry experts, including an executive webinar, and gain insight into areas such as procurement, security, finance, human resources, customer service, marketing, brand and sustainability.

The programme aims to help you build transferable skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving and CV writing, while giving you a better sense of which business roles might suit you.
