This free, hands-on workshop introduces participants to the creative potential of Augmented Reality (AR). Led by artist and educator Nicholas Stevenson, the session explores how artists can use accessible digital tools to scan real-world objects, edit 3D models, and build web-based AR experiences.
The workshop is practical and collaborative, with time to experiment with existing AR experiences, work through the scanning and editing process, and create a finished AR output that can be shared publicly. It is open to artists and creatives, students and graduates, and HCA staff, and is suitable for people who are comfortable using a computer and downloading apps.
Refreshments are provided during the day, and participants should bring their own lunch.
