This open day gives prospective students the chance to find out more about studying BA (Hons) Artist Blacksmithing at Hereford College of Arts. It is designed to offer a feel for the course, the teaching approach, and the creative environment that students become part of.

Attendees can hear from the course leader, meet the teaching team and speak with current students. The event also includes the opportunity to explore the artist blacksmithing design studio, the 3D and small metal workshops, and the National School of Blacksmithing forge, so visitors can see where practical making and design work takes place.

The day is held in person at the college campus and is intended to help prospective applicants understand what studying forged metal design involves. Free parking is available on site, and the venue is easy to reach from Hereford train station.
